Overhaul and Refurbishment

Assenta Rail has extensive experience in undertaking overhaul and refurbishment projects on an extensive variety of railway vehicles. Our newly establish Light Maintenance Depot allows us to offer a complete overhaul package to our clients including: 

  • Painting and Re-Livery utilising our in-house paint shop facilities

  • Bogie Overhauls with particular focus on our bogie specialisms of BT43, BT10 and BT22 bogies

  • Heavy Maintenance and C-Exams including overhaul to return to service

  • Interior Refurbishment ranging from minor modifications to full interior refurbishments to an exacting standard

  • Repairs using our skilled workforce ranging from minor repair works to more significant collision repairs and full body repairs 

  • Bogie and Wheelset Changes at our Hamilton LMD facility including removal and fitting of bearings, wheelset swaps and NDT testing
